TAFE SWSi delivers the Graduate Certificate in Project Management Practice in partnership with Charles Sturt University (CSU) through the Australian Graduate Management Consortium (AGMC). The AGMC is a unique joint initiative between Charles Sturt University and TAFE NSW, offering a dedicated pathway for TAFE graduates with supervisory / managerial experience and other professional attainments to undertake Masters level studies. Students are not required to have completed a bachelor degree as AGMC programs are designed to progressively help build strong foundational knowledge, operational skills and strategic capabilities in management.
AGMC programs are delivered face-to-face at Liverpool and Granville Colleges. Class times are tailored to suit busy professionals.
AGMC programs take an applied approach and students will be challenged to draw on their professional experiences and solve management problems within their own organisation.
TAFE SWSi can offer you smaller class sizes which provide the opportunity for greater interaction with your fellow students and lecturers. Access to workplace relevant and highly qualified lecturers, many of whom are still currently working in industry in senior roles. When studying in the first year TAFE SWSi offers you the choice of attending lectures at Granville or Liverpool Colleges, to assist you with better managing your work and study schedule.
||“I did a Diploma in Management and a teacher encouraged me to look at the AGMC. I loved the program and found it very encouraging. It’s a place where you can build relationships and build a network that will support you throughout your study and perhaps through life.
The AGMC course has changed the way that I manage today. It takes the blinkers off and allows you to get lateral management skills. The organisation I work for has seen the benefits and they’ve rewarded me with quite substantial pay increases”.
